Some of the functions the cinema artists attend are heart touching. It was so for talented and reputed actress Sanjaana on Tuesday when she came for Foundation for Art and Culture for Deaf.

At the felicitation ceremony to honor deaf students who have scored above 60 percent in SSLC and PUC examinations held in April 2012 – Kannada actress Sanjaana presented the mementoes with Ramachandra Gowda MLC and PN Sadashiva Corportor and senior actress Girija Lokesh on the dais.

The event was held today morning at Kannada Bhavana was touching also because of the deaf student’s cultural show. The new computer classes for Deaf students was launched on this occasion. TN Ramesh Chairman of the foundation for Art and Culture for Deaf was present.

14 deaf students who scored above 60 percent marks were feted on this occasion. Students from Mandya, Hullalli, Nanjangud and Mysore came to receive the felicitation.
